Nicolas Quezada learned to make pottery with his brother Juan Quezada in the 1970's.  He played an important role during the problem solving process of the revival of this art form.  He is a highly respected master potter, his work has been shown at University of New Mexico Museum of Art.  Nicolas has enjoyed teaching pottery around the United States.  Also, he is a featured artist in the book The Many Faces of Mata Ortiz.   And as a personal note, he has an award winning smile!
